Overview and Objective
This practical, vendor-neutral offshoring seminar focuses on the successful implementation of offshore projects and applications, focusing primarily on communications, technical interactions and project control.  Participants will move beyond the basics to more sophisticated project management techniques focused on specific offshore projects. Participants will establish appropriate techniques and processes to enable effective global collaboration, coordination and communications. Bridging cultural differences, organizing the work and fostering effective work relationships are issues addressed in this interactive seminar.  Participants will learn how to effectively integrate an offshore team’s work products and apply effective escalation management in this seminar.
Intended Audience
This course is designed for those who are responsible for effective team collaboration in an offshore internal or external environment. Some experience leading or participating in a virtual and/or global work team and familiarity with project concepts is recommended for the most valuable experience.

Virtual Classroom Schedule
Virtual classroom sessions are conducted as follows:
1:00 pm to 3:30 pm DAILY, Eastern Time (New York)
Virtual sessions are delivered using Cisco Webex Meeting Center. When you join the online meeting using the link provided in a confirmation email, you will be asked to either phone a US toll number or connect using a computer head set. If you phone in to the audio conference using the toll number provided, long distance toll charges will apply. If you connect using a computer head set with microphone (VOIP), no toll charges will apply.
